through the death of a loved one, providing compassionate care and support in the immediate aftermath of a loss and crafting services to honor their memory.

Your loved one left a unique mark on this world, and I want to capture this essence and create an opportunity, as friends and family gather, to remember and honor the remarkable person they were. I believe that End of Life Ceremonies and the rituals we participate in after loss have the potential to ease some of our pain, be soothing for the soul, and begin to transform our grief.
Graveside Service
I will meet with you virtually, provide support as we discuss your loved one's life and what you would like to include in the service, and present a 10-15 minute graveside service as your loved one is buried or interred.

Funeral or Celebration of Life
I will meet with you (either in person or virtually) and provide bereavement support in the immediate aftermath of your loss. I'll ask you to tell me about your loved one and perhaps share a few stories about them to get a better sense of who they were. I'll ask you what a meaningful tribute to their life might look like and include. I will then accompany you at the funeral home or other setting and lead a service to honor their life. This may or may not include a brief service at the location where they are buried or interred.

Other Services and Rituals
Life transitions (like the birth of a baby, adoption of a child, engagement, or divorce) are often celebrated without paying attention to the spiritual or emotional significance of these events. Especially for those who are not formally "religious," it can feel empty, or like something is lacking. I love meeting with people to explore what might mark these transitions in a memorable and meaningful way. The result could be a baby naming or welcoming ceremony, a cleansing, or a blessing with your community. Together, we can create a unique ritual to honor this passage.
